CPLD Introduction

We work with clusters of schools across the phases to identify, collaborate on, and respond to leadership and CPD needs. Our aim is to directly contribute to the strategic development of teaching and learning within our classrooms and schools.

Working in partnership with the Research Schools Network we use evidence and research based approaches, alongside a focus on well-being and sustainable workloads, to innovate and shape the direction of all our CPD work. We recognise that schools and teachers each have their individual identities and we value a culture of collaborative working in all the support and training we offer. We promote a robust understanding of pedagogy and training but encourage individuals and schools to develop their own approaches so it is firmly embedded within their practice.

We can work with individual or clusters of schools to develop and deliver CPD packages that respond to local needs.  If you would like to find out more about how MTSA can help support leadership and CPD in your school please contact our MTSA Administrator Sarah Giles on Tel: 01223 200400 ext. 3236 or via our website.

A wide range of high quality CPD is also available through other teaching school alliances that we work alongside, as well as the Local Authority. Full details of these programmes can be found by clicking on the following links:
