Eventbrite Meeting – 17th June – 6pm to 7pm

The Morris Teaching School Alliance (Morris TSA), which is part of Eastern Learning Alliance,  is a recently established alliance that works with primary, secondary, special schools and post-16 providers, in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, to achieve a shared vision for excellence in education.

The focus of our work is:

1) School to School Support

2) Initial Teacher Training

3) Professional Development

Impington Village College, part of the Morris Education Trust, is a designated Teaching School for our alliance. We work closely alongside our strategic partners, Witchford Village College , Rackham Primary School and Milton C of E Primary School as well as other schools in the local community, especially East Cambridgeshire and Fenlands. We have strong partnerships with a network of local TSAs and other key partners including the  Cambridge Teaching Schools Network and the University of Cambridge.

The Morris Teaching School Alliance is named after Henry Morris who was the Chief Education Officer in Cambridgeshire for over 30 years. He founded the Village College movement on the belief that learning was a lifelong process and everyone should have access to an excellent education. His philosophy lies at the heart of all that the Morris TSA aspires to achieve, through its work with individuals, schools and partners.

If you are interested in finding out more about ways of working with Morris TSA, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or email smcgill@tmet.org.uk  – we would love to hear from you.
